@Midg-td3ty: MKR tokens are made for that specific purpose. As a backing of last resort. And DAI was able to withstand the march 2020 flash dump. Also the problem with the zero bids for collateral. Was because of the auction system which was overhauled after the fact. Another black swan wont have the same effect on Dai anymore. Which actually held its value pretty good as USDT and USDC also shit the bed back then.
